General Dwandwa Points and rules
1. The purpose of Dwandwa can kick and war as the ground as you can on the target areas permitted on your opponent.
2. The Dwandwa Championship Comprises Five Round of One minutes each with a Thirty second break between each Round.
3. The entire Dwandwa competition area is 12 meters square mat. The area of 2 meters is red jon.
4. In the Dwandwa match the player can get the highest score by scoring, but by default, if the opponent gets injured or is unable to play, then the other player is victorious
Scoring in Dwandwa
1. In Dandwa, a score is made for every valid strike on the body, and three points are given for kick on the face.
2. One referee and three judges oversee the contest, and a point is awarded only when two or more judges register a hit at the same time.
3. Kicks to the head and body are only awarded points if they are landed with parts of the foot below the ankle.
4. Punch is not allowed in Dwandwa game
Penalties in Dwandwa
1. Penalties in Dwandwa are awarded for offences such as grabbing, holding, feigning injury, and turning one's back on an opponent.
2. The most serious Dwandwa offence is ‘EKH KARTNM’, which leads to one point being deducted. Examples of ‘EKH KARTNM’ include throwing an opponent, deliberately stepping over the boundary line, pulling an opponent to the ground, and attacking the face with anything but the feet.
3. If an opponent is knocked on the ground then the other opponent will stop him in the akhaad for 10 seconds, then in Akhada 6 points will be given to that player. But if the player gets knockout then the other opponent will be declared victorious without counting.
4. If a contest ends with the competitors level on points, then the contestant with the most points before penalties were deducted is the winner. If the scores are still level after this, then the referee awards the contest to the fighter he believes to have been the most willing to attack. The only exception to these rules occurs in the final of a competition, when a tied contest will go to an extra ‘sudden death’ round where the first to score a point wins. If no result is achieved during this round then the final decision once again lies with the referee.
